I was lying in bed asleep and woke up, I heard screaming. It sounded like #6 had discovered a rat on their property, perhaps the possum. I tried to ignore it and it escalated to the point I thought someone was actually trying to do them harm. I nearly called 911, but got up and went out back to investigate.
And heard about 20 kids in the yard, all of them screaming but not in a fun way. I muttered some curses and went back to bed.
I managed to get a little more sleep and woke up again. And it is quiet. I hope nothing bad did happen.
