I don't.
I started this blog with nothing, no advertising, no commercials (I will stick to that as long as I can), no promotions. I took whatever readers I got.
At some point the spam level and abuse led me to moderate comments and I have done that for well over 10 years. The blog is over 13 years old.
I am letting you read my diary. Simple as that. I would still be writing either way so I figure it might help someone or make you feel better about your life.
But do I go seeking more readers? Do I feel bad if readership drops? No. Not at all.
I would still be doing this if it read ZERO on my stats all across the board.
