A thought
I need to write Ron a letter and work on being a battered wife before I do ANYTHING.

Good idea. Write Ron a letter detailing how he hurt you and get it all out. And if you don't work on that you will find another abuser to get involved with. They are predators and can smell victims a mile away. They also can put on a good show for quite some time before revealing their true selves.
