That was adorable

I called my vet this morning and they said Spotty was fine but not eating.  I got some canned food and planned to walk over there if I had to drop it off.

I did suggest they try the soup (for cats).  I think it's the Fancy Feast Broths.  I had packed some in his bag.

I took my nap, got up, still feel lightheaded.  I called the vet.  They got him to eat by spoonfeeding him the broth.  How cute!

They clearly found him adorable.  I pick him up tomorrow.

Great vet offices are such a blessing! I am glad they are being so good to him. You must be so happy to be picking him up tomorrow.

Those kitties won the kitty lottery with you. Poor Spotty everything is not that same! But he will have a blast when he gets home and you do not have to worry as you said about him ripping his sutures!

And that whole black light thing is very cool I told a good friend who has “ a few” cats, (LOLOL you guys are both on the edge with 6 I think) to check your blog out . He was really curious about the black light so I told him come read for himself.

Would. Love to see more videos maybe one of Spotty being welcomed home?

I actually feel horribly guilty that I left him there but he is better off and I will always do what is best for the animal.

They couldn't take better care of him, of that I'm sure. I arranged his cab ride home already with Arturo.

I am not getting any more cats but the ugliest little dog in the world has been hanging out around my house the last couple days. It's some little terrier mix, mostly black, dug out, intact I think - which is another reason I fixed Spotty - wandering. I am not feeding it although Ron was teasing me. I am VERY glad he is blind and immobile because we would probably have a dog, too. Nothing on Nextdoor so he's not local.

I will try to sweep up tomorrow morning and make a video of Spotty when he gets home.

Do you think his mouth still hurts from the cleaning?

Could be why he didn't want to eat.

Or maybe he just prefers being spoon fed like feline royalty.

I think it's both, his mouth hurts - I have had my gums scraped and it is really awful - and he likes the royal treatment.

The vet said his mouth was really bad - bad enough she did it for free. So it must have been hurting to begin with. It didn't stop him eating though, he's a good sized boy. Not fat but solid.
