A married couple delivered my groceries. I have a $5 bill in my pocket. Who gets the tip? The woman has the cell phone and had me sign.
So I gave it to her.
I got everything on my list. I do need to get wet wipes, a couple of towels for my "orange" chairs, make a deposit.
The virus is timing along with my foot problem to keep me from going too many places, staying at home and resting. That is, by all accounts, a good idea.
I will be running some errands tomorrow, though.

If it was me I would give the tip to the person collecting the money (the woman in this case) and let th em sort it out. I’ll bet they split everything at the end of the day if they work together. I would not double the tip though.
With this app you pay in advance with a credit/debit card. But she had me sign so I gave it to her. :)
Still over-tipping I see. Whomever you pay gets the tip. Who cares? They are married and unlike you and Ron most married people share their incomes. But who knows maybe like you, she does all the work and only gets 25% of the pay while he spends ALL of his income on vodka or some other addictive vice.
YOu think $5 is too much?
I would have hated to have you at my table when I was a waitress. Literally 20 years ago a pregnant lady made my day by tipping me $5.
Agree with you Heather that is how I paid my way though college . I remember the. Folks who could NOT afford it always tipped the most . You pay it forward is what you do with tipping for good service! No $5 is not too much
It is NOT your job to fund the lifestyle of every single service person in the great Houston area. Especially since you are always complaining about how broke you are. I am not sure why you are bothering to use the Walmart delivery service anyway since you get food deliveries and then proceed to go to Walmart to buy more food. It makes absolutely no sense. So in essence you are paying twice for shopping at Walmart. Once when you get your Walmart delivery (which already charges a delivery fee and then you add extra for a tip) and a second time when you take a Uber to and from Walmart and then tip. Do one or the other not both.
I remember when you and Ron used to go to Walmart via paratransit every week. Same as when you used to go out to eat everyday via the paratransit and now he stays home day and night and you are paying for the food he eats and he is not paying you for the cost of getting this food to the house. If you take an Uber to Walmart and buy food for him he needs to reimburse you for cost of Uber to and from the store. Same with the Walmart delivery.
Ron gives me money toward Ubers.
Walmart had a deal, last year at least, pay $98 and get unlimited deliveries. So he paid for that and will, again, this year.
Ron can't sit up in the wheelchair that long. He can go one way if I am quick and we take a Uber home. He doesn't go anywhere outside of work these days.
My parents never borrowed from each other or had to pay the other back, they were "married".
