Last night I found a lady on Next Door taking elder care supplies to a mission in Mexico. Sounded good I got ahold of her. Donating all the "disposables", washable bed pads (including the one he died on), 2 wheelchairs and the portable wheelchair ramp. She was very excited.
She works so I arranged to just leave it in the front yard and she can come and get it whenever. HOA told me once I could leave stuff in the front yard up to 2 weeks before I got a letter.
And that will be pretty much all of his stuff gone. AM keeping: fanny pack, 2 blankets. Photos of course. His computers. That is plenty. I went through his flash drives almost all porn so I tossed them.
I went back to bed and was just sad for a while. I always equated grief with a lot of sobbing but I have mainly just been sad. I miss him but I sure don't want a visit! Not that they would let me there they have a lot of restrictions on the facility like not letting me bring a blanket.
I will be taking them some Bibles with the "Where will you spend eternity" tract (good for their line of work) when I can, my aunt is going to help with that.
I also put a case of Spanish Bibles in with the home care stuff going to Mexico.
Plan is to check mail today so I will let you know if I got anything.
Oh, after my God Time sitting on my couch, sad, not depressed. I can't be depressed for Ron he was so miserable at the end. I am sad for myself missing him and trying not to worry about my next job.
Anyway Torbie got up on me I was petting her. Then Biscuit showed up. She flattened her ears back and beat him up, while sitting in my lap. He left of course. Then Cleo came up to love on me. She made the mistake of touching Torbie with her tail so Cleo got a beating and ran off.
When I first met Torbie at the shelter she hissed at any cat that got near me. She is very possessive. I did put a canister of treats by that couch so hopefully we can all get along eating treats and getting petting from Mom. We will see.
That's it for now.
Edit: it's all gone. I even threw in a case of Spanish Bibles as the ministry works in Mexico. The lady was very nice and delighted to get it all. That's the nice thing, there was a LOT, worth coming to get it.
