Well work is done

Had a very judgemental driver "Where's his coat?". He was holding it and didn't want to wear it.  But I am the bad guy.

Then drove recklessly all the way to work.

I would have said why don't you ask him. He is blind not deaf and a grown man who can make his own decisions about whether he wants to wear a coat or not.

Next time tell the. Ron is an adult. Quit taking responsibility for his "choices".
As the line in the song goes... each victory will help you, some other to win.

I've walked your path, enabling my drug addicted daughter and paying her consequences. It was hell for me until I got the courage and with the help of the Lord, to quit. Now at age 39 (sigh) she is finishing her 3rd, (you read that right) CPS,case. I "was" part of the problem by catching her every time she fell. You are essentially doing the same thing with Ron and you can "choose" to stop.
((Hugs)) your friend from RR

I deal with the same crap as a parent. Especially with coats and winter gear. I live in MI and my kids are resistant to wearing coats even in subzero temps and I’ll get comments and I want to scream. But idgaf anymore. I try my best to remind and scold and whatever but one day she’s going to leave her coat at home and regret it. I wouldn’t care what the stupid driver thinks. You tried. Let Ron be cold. Lol
