Isn’t Uber cheaper than a taxi? I take iit all the time to run errands to far to walk to . Where I live it is a third cheaper, I do not have to talke to anyone I just order a driver on the app and I have been spoiled rotten by the service.

Good point. Yellow Cab does FBI screenings and has worked pretty well for me. My main point is I prefer to pay cash. Yellow lets me do that.
But taking the bus got me out out the house for longer. I can really do quite a bit on the bus if pressed, which will come in when Ron dies. Once Ron's gone = no paratransit so it will be me, Yellow, and the bus getting around.

Must be weird you haven't taken the bus in forever. It does suck how long it takes just to go from point a to point be when you ride the bus.
