Final proportions

1 T Vindaloo curry
1 cup lentils
3/4 t salt
1 medium potato, diced. 
4 cups water

I had old lentils (and curry powder), lentils needed an hour on the stove, after soaking.  It's good.  Different, and good.  Not the "same old". 

A good way to eat better, adding spices instead of carbs.
