Friday, part 2

Just a short one to cover our trip to the bank.

We got picked up by a very nice driver we both like a lot.  She is skilled, compassionate, and has a good sense of humor.

We had a straight trip to the bank.  The security guard held the door for Ron, both times.  One old lady came right over, gaping at us, and then went off on her own once she had satisfied her curiosity.

We got in there, Ron was a little confused as to what he wanted to do.  He figured it out and we deposited the sales tax, in the business account.  Oh, that was a big bite, more than my pay for a month.

Then Ron turned some $5 bills into $20's, not much, just enough to hold us for a while.  All done, we went off to the side, put everything away, and called Arturo.  He came pretty quick.

We went through a drive through.  I made the mistake of ordering a melt, no onions.  It came with onions, I took one bite and threw it away because the cheese glued everything together in a mess.  Ron got tacos, which he had been talking about for a few days.  We got Arturo an order of tacos, too.

We went home.  I plan to take a nap for a bit.  #2 is playing loud music.  We have figured out at least a couple of them work nights so they are just getting up, having a good time making noise and disturbing the whole neighborhood.

We have gone to great lengths to ensure the drivers are quiet when they pick us up, very early, in the morning.  But some people can't return the favor.  That's OK, a ride is coming for us at 6 am tomorrow and it might be loud, have to back up, honk, have a loud dispatch radio, etc.  And they are so close they will hear it, and it will wake them up.

And they turned it off.

So I am done with the business part of our day.  We can mail the sales tax check without any worries now.  Off to try to take a nap (it should be pretty quiet now).
