Coworker came in and talked to HR who said she cannot just snatch my shifts because she likes them better then hers. Coworker then had a private come to Jesus moment and decided that (basically) Heather's life sucks enough having to ride the bus and pay for rides when I have a car, I'm not going to fight on this anymore.
That's the short version of my day. I will go into more detail tomorrow.

That's the way it should have worked so glad they followed procedure. I'm not sure how WM handles scheduling, but unfortunately she may still be able to bump you down the line with her seniority, but that would all be decided ahead of time. Not like she can waltz in and randomly send you home. Hopefully she won't change her availability permanently.
Is there anywhere on your WM employee app where you can watch for a job with them closer to home?

Well got the new schedule it is same as the next couple weeks 11-5 which is great for me. And the other employee seems happy with it now, even comes in early. So that's a relief.
