Ron knew a woman who had both arms ripped off by a bear. They are vicious animals, not pets, I have no problem with killing one.
The guy who killed it, last I heard, was bow hunting feral hogs - which are even more vicious killers and a menace to livestock and people. I don't have a problem with that, either.
So hate all you want the bear stays. I am glad Ron helped me construct the stand.
If it is already dead I think it is better for it to be a family member than to get wasted. Would I pay someone to kill an animal for taxidermy? No. Would I do that to one of my dead cats? No. But would I accept a gift? Yes. I am sure Corey spent a buttload of cash shipping it to us.
