I don't understand why you would leave one wall open and not get everything drywalled and closed up. I also believe you got an 11,000 check. Otherwise you wouldn't have offered to buy ron a 2,000 walk in tub. It is ok to have money leftover the insurance company isn't going to take it back.
I will repeat, I was told, by the plumber, to leave it for "at least a month". See the water supply lines in the photo? So that is what Ron and I agreed to do, ESPECIALLY after there was a small leak issue a few weeks ago. If I have money that will get done in March.
