At a restaurant
Ron is verbally abusing me. About to walk out.
"I'm not your slave"
"You don't have to try and tear me down."
"I would like to see you go one day saying only positive, or neutral, things. That would be a nice day."

Just walk the hell out NOW! You don't even get a week free of the abuse it seems to be everyday for you or if not everyday at least every other day.
You are like a war victim always being attacked, berated and put down constantly. Your cortisol must be through the roof.
If you were not on medications already you would need them because no one could or should tolerate this kind of abuse day in and day out.
It hurts my heart to read these things that are happening to you because of this man and because you were basically conditioned as a child to just TAKE IT.
God will not stop this abuse. You must do something. You don't deserve to be treated this way. The fact that you are still sitting there taking the verbal abuse in public says a lot about how accustomed to it you have become. You should have left after giving him ONE warning.
Heather my husband gave me the wake up call of my life when he left me for 12 days. Maybe Ron needs it I know you probably don't have anywhere to go so you're stuck. Too bad you can't kick him out.

I agree. Heather, don’t take another second of this crap from Ron. I don’t care if he acts “apologetic” later. This is inexcusable behavior.
