I did some research. It doesn't look like the flu necessarily aggravates neuropathy. It does look like a lot of neuropathy has been linked to flu vaccines, so I'm VERY glad Ron never got one.
My theory - as his body fights, the neuropathy worsens, and he suffers more. I hate to see him suffer.
Last night I gave him some guiafenisin tablets and he found them very helpful. Since he is drinking I have to be very careful.
