Yes, full of work crap, home care crap, drunk crap (I'm sure you saw all the alcohol), and various crap.
Ron is mainly only hurting himself. He doesn't realize that now he is documented as a crippled drunk who can't hold his liquor, and falls. The paramedics knew he was drunk, and commented about his stash of vodka in the garage.
