Fajitas para gato

Ron gave me the day off, today.

Have I told you about Ron, the cat, and the fajitas?  Our local taqueria has a $6 fajita special.  Tons of meat.  Delicious.  The standard plate comes with three meats, chicken, beef, and shrimp.

We always have leftovers, which we bring home.

So, Ron was eating the fajitas one night, and the cat kept begging.  The next thing you know, Ron's feeding the cat chicken fajitas.  The vet said it's OK.  She said she'd rather Ron feed the cat cooked meat, than cat treats.

Fast forward a bit, and Ron is ordering the cat, his own takeout order of fajitas.  And they know!  Ron tells them "And the chicken fajitas for my cat!"  They'll remind him "Fajitas para gato, right?  To go?"  We showed them a photo of the cat, and Ron has an audio track of the cat eating and purring at the same time, which he played for the waitress and the owner.

When we get the fajitas para gato, Ron separates the chicken into small portions, and freezes them.  He can take out a frozen portion, gently warm it in the microwave, tear it into bits, and feed it to the cat on his own little plate.

Ron loves the cat even more than I do!  That's a good place.

Anyway, we HAD to go today, Ron was out of fajitas para gato.   They only have the special on Thursday.  So, we just had a trip to the taqueria and home.

Later on, after my nap, I mowed the front and backyards and rearranged the yard.  Tomorrow, we go to work, then I deposit a check.

And all the while, Ron will be doling out chunks of gently warmed chicken, for the cat.
