"Where's your bag?"

Sometimes I have to laugh at myself; and God's role for me.  I got up at 4 AM, after about 6 hour's sleep.  I did my God Time, got ready, and headed off.  I had my usual canvas sack full of Driver Candy.

We had one of our favorite drivers.  Ron took the wheelchair so it was a little trouble getting the chair secured and all.  I dropped Ron at the credit union and pushed the chair around the building.  Then Ron called.  The badge door from the credit union didn't work; so I had to go back out around the building and fetch him.  Funny.

The snack machines and food machines looked OK, so I did sodas and worked on organizing the stockroom.  I really need to get rid of those 2 pallets; hopefully Romeo will "let" me use OUR pallet jack.  [rolleyes]

I HATE drama.  [big sigh]  Then I got the sandwiches and stocked them; helped Ron and off we went.  We took some change to the bank for deposit.  Our account got down to $9.  Eek!  Happily, though, our electric bill was only $57.

We transacted our business and had a good pickup.  I ended up giving my last Children's New Testament to another passenger, an elderly woman on oxygen.  She was very obese and I believe had a learning disability.  She got very excited and kept saying "Oh, I can read THIS!"  OK.  [shrug]  Kid, adult, same difference, if God wants them to have it I'm handing it over.  He's generally very loud.

We got home, I was starving.  I happily wolfed down a huge bowl of beef & veggie soup.  I made it Saturday with some frozen meaty stock.  It's still tasty.

Naptime.  I was delighted to see Bubba get up when he saw me crawling into bed with him; he was in the center of the bed but moved to the left foot.  I had a good hour-long nap.  It was not long enough.

But, we were going to the Christian bookstore to stock the vending machine.  Our OTHER business.  We took the handcart and Ron said "You go shop, I'll fill it."  OK.  I found 2 good books for $1 each.  One is a book of readings for someone who's just had a loss.  Good to put in a care package.  I think God will have me sending more.

We had a good pickup and came home.  Ron and I talked while he ate dinner (I made pumpkin pudding, later).  He went off to his man cave.

A funny point today; I know God wants me busy.  I had left my sack of Driver Candy (candy in a plastic bag, with a scripture booklet or Bible), in the cab when I ran into the fried chicken place to get Ron's dinner.

The employees were delighted to see me.  "Oh, where's your bag?"

I have given them about 9 Bibles, and 20 bags of Driver Candy, but they still want Him!  I laughed and went back out to get the bag; and gave them the remaining Driver Candy.  God keeps me busy!

Tomorrow is Offday/Day Out so I don't know what I'm doing yet.  It is supposed to rain; but I'll see.
