Anyway...

Anyway, enough of rock-throwing.  [shrug]  I just don't get it.  Sometimes, most often, I think that's a good thing. 

Last night I was going to watch Sci-fi.  The 6 o'clock movie was a former Christian missionary who was all set to perform a human sacrifice, on a child.  Then later on in the movie she realizes she is pregnant with the antichrist.  Hm. 

The next movie was something about a scarecrow.  I turned it on about an hour into the movie.  A married man is sitting on a couch.  A scantily clad married woman is licking his hand.  They are not married to each other.  She says "I saw you the other day and it got me all [!!!}"  I haven't heard that phrase outside a porno movie!  It looked like a porno movie! 

I turned it off.  I am pretty calloused in a lot of ways.  Even the kiddo child sacrifice thing, while pretty riveting, wasn't exactly disturbing.  I am used to seeing simulated sexual acts and a fair amount of nudity.  I am even inured to the old "naked female breasts covered in blood as she is murdered" scene. 

But that - UGH.  Is this what I can expect from now on? 

I don't think I'll be watching much Sci-fi if that's the case.  Yike. 

If I want X rated, I just go wake up my husband, you know?  He will be happy to... [head shake]
