Doc says
Ron can go home tomorrow if I fill a prescription for Eliquis today. Waiting on Chuck to take me to Walmart. Edit, got the pills. Doc also mentioned no blood clots in his lungs.

Yes giving an alcoholic a prescription for Eliquis is certainly wise if you want him dead sooner rather than later. Do they know about his abuse of alcohol?
I asked about alcohol. Pharmacist said moderate alcohol use is OK, which I conveyed to Ron - MODERATE.
The hospital has a pharmacy but Walmart is going to be cheaper. Chuck was happy to run me there and back. People want to help and sometimes a task like that is just what they want.

Doesn't the hospital have a pharmacy you can use?

Yeah, tell Ron he can drink moderately, makes sense.
Wow I am so sad about this there is no “moderate” with Ron and you know it . This is a recipe for disaster.
