That is a deal killer for me, I have enough crap on my phone. I will keep playing with it but that's it unless I am missing something. When I go to posts it tells me to download the app.
If I wanted the app I would have got it already, and I'll be honest I am NOT interested in "following" a bunch of people.
Cranky today, depressed to start and then I took a nap, I had laid down with Torbie on my chest purring so sweetly and Ron woke up and wanted a snack. He is so deaf he cannot hear me say "I am busy" in the next room. I have to get up, stand next to him, and shout it at him. And Torbie would leave anyway so I just fixed him something and went back to bed.
But frustrating, I would say overall he is reasonably appreciative, says please and thank you, but there is still the "Wait on him hand and foot stand there while he does whatever" aspect I do NOT like. I doubt anyone would.
Not to mention the whole deaf thing where he talks to me and I have to get up and walk across the house, stand next to him, to talk back. I don't know why he won't just call me on the phone. And I can't even yell back for him to do that because he doesn't hear me. Honestly, that is more bothersome than the wheelchair, drinking, and blindness.
I finally went back to sleep but no Torbie of course. :( That sucked, she was purring so sweetly. She is just bursting with love.
I did have Biscuit at the foot of the bed. It is rare I am actually alone in bed.
I did sleep, slept pretty well, but woke up with a vicious headache. I got dressed and had a hemp smoke in the driveway. The man from #10 has stopped roaming the street so I feel comfortable sitting in the front yard. And they have repairmen at the house so maybe he moved out.
The hemp killed the headache but I have an awful taste in my mouth. I am debating calling my aunt. I don't like to call when I am not 100% it is just personal preference. #7, across the street, got a white poodle. I guess that is a good thing to do during quarantine, get a new pet. I just hope the poor thing gets used to the lack of attention when everyone goes back to "normal".
It has been my experience dogs around me are always severely neglected if not outright abused (one you could see every bone in it's back, I called about it of course, and fed it until they came and took it). So we will see if he breaks the mold. She is a nurse or something (wears scrubs to work) so hopefully the dog gets a good level of care.
At some point I need to finish the laundry but I don't have a whole lot to do, just finish the dryer and then put it away. Most of it is a pair of jeans and a nightgown.
Torbie liked to dig her claws into the nightgown and knead, while I wore it, but it is holding up very well. It does have some snags but nothing horrible. I am just glad I have something I can wear to a hotel if we have the conference this year. We had the fire at the hotel one year which was insane. A bunch of freaked out blind people trying to evacuate, it was a mess. Last year was OK, though.
So sometimes I wear it, sometimes not, it depends. Right now I have a lot of covers layered on the bed, two blankets, a quilt, and a top sheet. It looks to be cold at night next week so I will keep them.
And there's CLEO! It freaked out the vet staff when I first took her in, she likes to wink her eye at you. They thought she had gotten injured when they handled her. No, she just does that. She has wandered off but did say hi.
I like how the cats can get up on the couch next to me when I work on the computer. I am done with the monthly report and sales tax isn't due for a while, either. And she's back stretched out on the couch. She likes her head petted the most. She has such cute orange tabby markings on her white face, around her mouth, and then the black nose is just the finisher. Pretty cute!
It is funny how Torbie will allow Cleo in my bed but not Spotty. Spotty sleeps on the floor over by the cat door.
I was thinking if I could get a short runner I might put one over there for him to lay on. I should look into that. Yeah, they have some when I get back to my regular pay I may look into that. I would like Spotty to have a nice plush spot (pardon the pun) to sleep on the floor, if that's what he wants to do, BUT he might prefer the flooring in the summer because that will be cooler. I will have to think about it. As it is I have 2 doormats over there and he seems happy with them.
Still can't figure out instagram, how do I do an upload? I tried doing a search and I got someone NAMED upload. AGH.

Yes it requires an app. Nothing to be paranoid about. It doesn’t require you to follow anyone but I’ll tell you there is a very large cat community on there and you might make some friends. Reconsider
Funny you didn't want to move the microwave because ron uses it to make food for himself but every time you post you are getting and microwaving his food
Well, if I get sick he will be glad the microwave is where he can get it.
Doubtful even sick you will still cater to him you have made him helpless no different than what his parents did to him.
Still more vain ramblings from you. Who cares about getting the cats an Instagram account when you are outting them in harm's way every single time you let them roam the neighborhood. It will take something tragic hapoening to one of the cats for you to stop doing this. And the worst part is they will have to suffer for your willfully head in the sand attitude for you to stop this. Torbie getting hurt and Biscuit is not enough for you to see where this can lead is horrible. Why are you doing this to your cats?
Do you have the money? Because I don't.
Ron's parents didn't make him helpless, they taught him to be very independent, then, when he did need help, tried to put him in a nursing home. When Ron indicated he knew this they disowned him.
So not sure where "helpless" comes in. I think he does pretty well considering his many physical problem.
Lock the cat door. Cost $0
Move Ron into the orange room. He will have to move for the clean out and renovations anyway. Just do it now and close off his old room so the cats can't get in the wall. Cost $0
Ron gets disoriented, and lost, in his own room on occasion. Guaranteed we will have massive issues when I do move him. I am not doing that yet.
Even more reason to get him out of that room. If he is getting lost and disoriented in his current room, he could end up falling or crawling into the open wall where the drywall is missing.
It's not a safe place for a blind man with neurological issues.
Lol that would be hilarious if he crawled into the open wall and got stuck. I am rooting for this to happen ASAP
The wall isn't cut that way it is more irregular about halfway up. One reason I am so surprised meaty old Biscuit got in the hole, it's just not large.
I am lmao
Why can't you just staple plastic over the opening so the cats can't get in?
You don't have cats. They are very persistent and have claws to rip plastic.
I do have cats. I have used thick plastic in the past to keep them out of things. Why is it so hard for you to consider suggestions?
I would do it if I thought it would work but my guys are alley cats and used to getting in places they shouldn't.
If things work out I should be getting the repairs in a month or two.
