My thoughts are a little disconnected but I am going to put it all out there..
I have a couple of issues right now.
1. Ron needs to be quiet at night so I can sleep. No more of these "I will/won't let you sleep" head games. That is a deal killer and will get him booted RIGHT quick to the nursing home. He is asleep right now, I am not being petty and waking him up (tempted as I am) but he has no compunction about waking me up. There is only one of me and I need my sleep.
2. Work, we have to get that hashed out. I think I covered it enough in my earlier posts today.
3. Communication. The hospital did scans on Ron so presumably they didn't find anything worth mentioning re: brain issues. I assume they found the old brain damage but presumably nothing new. So why is his communication so poor? I am back to asking him yes and no questions and even then he told me no to wanting a blanket even though he was clearly cold. His solution was asking me to heat up a burrito and put it by his foot. O.o When asked, he could not tell me where he put the electric blanket and refused to move so I could look under the bed. So I put 2 blankets and turned on the heat. He is asleep now as I said but communication is just terrible. And they scanned him, so it's not organic.
He is not an evil or a hateful person even though he acts like it sometimes (earlier @ the blanket and being cold). I believe he loves me as much as he can which is not as much as I'd like but better than others have loved me. And yes, that is very sad.
There is a way to make this work I just need to figure it out. Threatening to burn incense and him saying he would burn me with it is not it. I want to feel good about my responses and I am not going to go to his level. I just won't.
But these issues have to be fixed and soon.

He’s not hateful ... threatens to burn you with incense? Whatever
Just because you haven’t heard the results doesn’t mean anything. Call them. Find out the results of those scans.
He is not being petty or manipulative at this point.
He is sick. He can't communicate effectively. You need to communicate these problems to his doctor and his new neurologist.
Well, we were arguing. He is going to the doctor and they can access the scans.
The reason for the follow up with the neurologist is to get the information from the scans. They must have seen something to refer you to a neurologist. I'm pretty sure the doctor will explain results, ER really doesn't go into the details you should know that.
It's been my experience if there is bad news they give it at the ER. I believe they just give a neuro referral on all seizures. They told us about the diaphragm hernia, for instance, and were honest enough to say it did not need emergency surgery.
Yes, I will get him to make an appointment. If I make it he absolutely won't go it has to be his idea. And I doubt I can get him to a neuro. I did get him to agree it was probably a good idea to see his primary. Today (Tuesday) I will push him to make the appointment.
