Interesting

We got home, Ron started drinking.

But first he called me in the kitchen to help.  "I would like you to measure this, and tell me the ounces".  Ron refers to his customary beverage as "Two sips".

He poured this one shorter than he did, normally, by about 2-3 ounces.

I was quite happy to measure (and I did, even though I already knew) and tell him it was 6 ounces.  He made me repeat it.  Not only did I do that, I reminded him that was "four drinks".

"No, it's one drink, two sips."

"But 6 ounces, equivalent to four shots" I told him calmly.

Hopefully this will get him thinking.  I did find it interesting.

Then I "made" him wash out my measuring cup "Because I don't want my food to taste like brandy".

He obliged.
