I was wondering what to share today. I decided to put up Torbie.
I see a lot of this. This is how she looks when I'm working on the computer or doing my God Time on that very loveseat. It IS a LOVEseat with Torbie around! She also sleeps with me most nights, which I love most of all.
OK, I'm happy, I put her in my slideshow too. I also set this photo as my cell phone wallpaper. I'm so glad I let her pick me. I'm telling you, the best pets I have had (Baby Girl the first, Bubba, Frosty, Baby Girl the 2nd [Ron's cat], and Torbie) all chose US. We didn't go and pick them out, they either showed up at the door or selected us in some other way. Torbie came already fixed, a great bonus.
Ron teases me about "Heather's Home for the Aged Feline", because Frosty, Bubba, and Torbie were/are all older cats. Frosty and Bubba went to Jesus, Torbie remains.
I love older cats. Yes, they break your heart sooner than a kitten (most likely), but the quality of love and affection can't be beat. Look at that face. She's so happy. She loves me.
It makes me happy.
