Most people would put two of my cats down. Baby Girl has a bad habit of pooping/flinging poop outside the litter box. Pretty awful, that.
Biscuit refuses to clean his butt, so he walks around dirty. And he has a white butt. Pretty disgusting by most standards.
Last night, after I went to bed, I realized the cats had knocked one of the blinds askew. I don't like sleeping knowing someone could look at me. I got up to fix it, walked past the bedroom litter box, and stepped in something. squish
Huh, I wondered, what's that? I walked to the bedroom and looked. I had stepped in a cat turd, flung next to the litter box. Baby Girl! I removed it, washed my foot, and used a disinfecting wipe on my foot as a finisher.
I put my glasses on and searched the bedroom, I couldn't find any tracks, trails, or residue. That's because it got between my toes. [gag]
I went to bed.
I told Ron when it happened and he checked "his" litter box. It was pretty bad, so he cleaned it out. I plan to clean my boxes again today (I get them every other day, I have 3 + the one Ron takes care of + one the cats never use)
I finally fell asleep and slept better than I had in a while. I guess I am getting used to the new medication formulations.
I was pretty depressed today but managed to get shower/God Time/laundry done. I have yet to clean the cat boxes, but you can bet I will!

I have 1 cat and have to clean the box twice a day - once in the morning and again in the evening.
I can't imagine having 3 cats. Why keep the extra box if the cats don't use it?
I hate having to dump the litter and wash the entire box once a month. I can't imagine doing that for 3 cats. We go through a 40 lb box of litter once a month.
I tried to cut corners once and just spray and wipe with a bleach and water mixture and leave out the dawn dishwashing step but the box just smelled foul from the bleach concoction and that was the end of that. Never again did I leave out the final step.
As for biscuit if he is overweight it might not be that he won't but rather can't clean his rear end. This can lead to a lot of health issues for him.
You sound like you are feeling better. Biscuit is a biscuit huh?
