A while back, I learned a hard lesson about reading blog posts. They're all depressing, don't look back. But I recall I was a real mess in April of 2021, unemployed, looking for work. I had savings but it was just so depressing with nowhere to go every day.
So I don't mind working. I am the type of person who needs to get out of the house. A lot of my regulars are the same, I think. They come to the store to be around people and interact, not necessarily to buy things. One of my favorites is a sweet older lady who clearly had a stroke.
I have a nice lunch packed (spaghetti, some snacks). I can afford to get some soda and a piece of coffee cake if they have it.
The weather isn't too bad yet. When Ace gets up I'm going to pin him down for a ride home. It's going to be unpleasant. My rides home haven't been too bad lately almost everyone is behaving on the bus even if no one ever pays.
I need to get dressed (wearing my pj's). I got some wool socks on clearance about 2 years ago and they are great. I am glad I have them. I had a little debate today compression socks vs. wool socks. Wool socks won.
The cats are good. I am bending my rule on not feeding them if there's food in the bowl. It's too cold to do that. And I bought some kitten food for You Know Who (it was a big hit with the black cat, and my guys). It doesn't have fish so it works for Biscuit.
That's it for now!
